So what is Croftwireless ?
CroftWireless is a service to enable people to receive
Broadband Internet access without wires.
How long does it take to get setup ?
This service can typically be setup within 24 hours.
What do I need to get this service?
The main thing you need is to live within the signal area.
You will also need a wireless computer.
If you don't have a wireless computer then you will need a wireless bridge,
this will convert the signal to an ethernet connection (Found on most Computers)
How much will it cost me ?
If you require a bridge this will cost £45.00, then you pay just £12.00 per calendar month.
What is the difference to Dialup internet ?
Dialup internet typically uses a 56K connection, Croftwireless uses 2 x 2Mb connection
and uses traffic shapeing to avoid network conjestion.
This is upto 35 times faster that dialup internet.
What can I use Croftwireless for ?
Croftwireless can be used for General Browsing, Emails, Voice over IP, etc.
Note :- Croftwireless doesn't support File Sharing.
